"I really must thank a few people who have given me so much during these two amazing years at Inter. I would like to first of all extend my sincere thanks and my most cordial greetings to the president, Massimo Moratti, and his family for what they have done for me as well as their availability to me and my loved ones. I will always remain closed to Mr. Moratti for the esteem and affection that he showed me in these splendid years. And then to all my teammates, knowing that without their encouragement and help on the field, Inter would have not been able to win so many important victories at both national and international levels. A very special greeting also to all the Italian and foreign players that allowed me to get better and better each game.

Also a sincere thank to all the coaches of Inter for these years and especially to Mr. Jose Mourinho, who wanted me strongly, for the opportunity that he gave me by bringing me to Milan.

Best wishes are also to technical director Marco Branca, sporting director Piero Ausilio, team manager Andrea Butti and all the staff of FC Internazionale at the "Angelo Moratti" Sporting Center in Appiano Gentile: the doctors and physiotherapists, cooks and waiters, warehouse workers and gardeners and all the people of Inter Channel.

I will never forget the affection of the Inter fans (most of all Mauro) that made me feel like one of them. They always supported and helped me. Also to all the journalists that I had the pleasure of knowing.

I also must thank my "Italian mother", Ciacia Guzzetti for her help and my super manager Claudio Vigorelli for the demonstration of commitment and professionalism

Thank you to a 100% Interista, Materazzi, who's made me feel like an Italian. Thank you big brother.
