    For supported mobile networks, you have the option to purchase Android apps on Google Play using direct carrier billing. Purchases made using direct carrier billing will be posted directly to your mobile billing account after the 15-minute return period expires.
    Making a purchase with direct carrier billing

    1. Locate the Android app you’d like to purchase on Google Play, and tap the blue rectangle that contains the price.
    2. Select the option to bill to your mobile account from the drop-down menu.
    3. Tap Accept & buy.
    4. If you’ve used carrier billing before, you’re done! Your app will begin to download.
    5. If required, add your address information in the space provided.
    6. Tap OK.
    7. Confirm your address information on the verification screen, making any necessary corrections.
    8. Tap Accept & Buy.

    Note that going through the setup flow to use carrier billing will register you for a Google Wallet account for the Google Account you’re using.

    Missing carrier billing option
    All of the following must be true for you to see carrier billing as an option:

    • You must be using your carrier’s network (3G/4G), not wireless.
    • You must purchase from Google Play on your device, not on the web.
    • You must be in good standing with your carrier and have not exceeded your carrier’s cap on monthly spending.
    • Your device/service plan must be opted in for premium content purchases.
    • Your device must be provisioned for use with direct carrier billing.

    Direct carrier billing cancellations
    Direct carrier billing purchases that do not receive a successful authorization from your mobile provider will be immediately cancelled. For more information about the reason for the failed authorization, please contact your mobile service provider.
