Suzy yang mempunyai nama asli Su ji (수지) atau Bae Su Ji (배수지) ini lahir di Gwangju, Korea Selatan pada tanggal 10 Oktober 1994. Pemilik tinggi 176 cm dan berat 47 kg ini sangat gemar makan cemilan dan suka dengan pria yang cute (kayak gimana tuh...!). Sebagai member girlband Miss A yang saat ini bernaung di talent agency J. Tune Entertainment, kemampuan menyanyi Suzy tentu saja tidak diragukan lagi, sampe-sampe ada fans yang mengatakan kalau suzy itu adalah malaikat yang turun dari langit untuk menyanyi (wadow, sampe segitunya hehe...), tapi bagaimana dengan aktingnya?



Pada episode awal drama Dream High, akting Suzy memang dikritik karena dia masih terlihat canggung dan pelafalannya pun masih kurang jelas. Yah... maklum aja chingu soalnya jika dibandingkan dengan pemain lainnya di drama tersebut, Suzy memang kurang berpengalaman dalam soal berakting berhubung drama Dream High merupakan debut pertamanya sebagai seorang actress. Tapi berkat kerja kerasnya akhirnya gadis yang berbintang Libra ini menunjukkan kemampuan aktingnya yang semakin baik di setiap episodenya, dan akhirnya mendapat pujian juga deh dari para penonton, chukkae Suzy...^^ (terkadang kritikan memang bisa membuat kita semakin semangat untuk menjadi yang lebih baik, contoh yang bagus..^^ ).

Miss A's maknae Suzy has another drama and will portray the role of the lead.

Suzy is confirmed to be on upcoming drama "Big" together with Goon Yoo and Lee Min Jung.

Hong sisters is the famous drama writing team who wrote Big. Their other written dramas were a big hit not just in Korea but also outside their country. ‘The Greatest Love‘, ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho‘, and ‘You’re Beautiful‘ were all written by Hong sisters.

Gong Yoo will portray the role of Seo Yoon Jae, a 30 year old man who comes to possess the soul of an 18 year old adolescent while Lee Min Jung will be trapped in an absurd situation where her stern 30-year old fiance becomes an 18-year old. Suzy will be a part of a love triangle, who will captivate the heart of the 18-year old Seo Yoon Jae (played by Gong Yoo).

Big will replace KBS's Love Rain on June 4. The casts will have a meeting on the 14th of April and will be doing a script reading.

Suzy’s cast in the upcoming romantic comedy Big has received a lot of attention. As much as the drama will feature top stars Gongyoo and Lee MinJung.

“Big” is written by the Hong Sisters – Hong JeongEun and Hong MiRan (“You’re so Beautiful” and “The Greatest Love”). The drama is about a love story between a 30-year-old medical specialist Seo YoonJae (portray by Gongyoo) who has switched his body with a 18-year-old boy and a part time teacher, Gil DaRan (portray by Lee Minjung).

On April 14, Suzy met up with the Hong Sisters to talk over about her character in detail. Suzy will play the role of a stalker named Jang Mari, who flew to Korea from United States to keep her boyfriend. When she found out her 18-year-old boyfriend’s spirit is inside a 30-year-old successful medical specialist, she tried to turn the boy back into himself.

This makes everyone anticipated yet curious as how it may goes when Suzy’s bubbly character surface.

In an interview with TV Report, Suzy shared her thoughts about the drama, “When I heard that I was cast in the drama, I
was so excited that I couldn’t even sleep. Even though my character will not appear on the series yet, I’ll try harder to make the series good with other veteran actors. Please give a lot of support and look out for the drama.”

“Big” will air in early June, to replace the finished series of Love Rain.
