Starbucks Coffee Indonesia opened its first store in Plaza Indonesia, 17 May 2002. As of 10 April 2013, Starbucks Coffee Indonesia is now in 147 different locations all around major cities (12 cities), connecting to Indonesians one cup at a time.
Back home in our tasting room, we take these amazing coffees and mix them with beans from other regions. That’s how we create some of our most famous blends, like Starbucks® Pike Place Roast. 2002
Starbucks open its first store in Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta and its first flagship in Plaza Senayan, Jakarta. The first store in Surabaya was also opened at Tunjungan Plaza 4.
2003
Starbucks opened its first airport store in Indonesia at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng and the first Bali store at Hard Rock Hotel Bali.
2004
Starbucks opened its first 24-hour store in Skyline Building Thamrin. As part of its commitment to continue to innovate, Starbucks introduced WiFi to the store for the first time. Starbucks also opened its first store in Sumatra at Sun Plaza Medan and conducted the first Coffee Ambassador Competition.
2005
Starbucks opened its first drive-thru store in Southeast Asia at KM 19 Cikampek.
2006
Starbucks conducted the 2nd Coffee Ambassador Competition and opened its store in Margo City Depok and Botani Square Bogor.
2007
Starbucks opened its fourth store in Surabaya, which is at Tunjungan Plaza 3 and the fourth store in Bandung at Mal Paris van Java Mal. The first store in Yogyakarta was also opened at the Ambarukmo Plaza. The second drive-thru service was opened at KM 13.5, Serpong.
2008
At the beginning of January, Starbucks opened its 61st store at Pacific Place.
2009
Starbucks opened its Terminal 3 – Soekarno Hatta Airport store and the first store in Balikpapan.
2010
Starbucks opened its store at the Juanda International Airport, Surabaya and added one more city, which is Semarang. Starbucks opened its 90th store at Sogo Central Park.
2011
Starbucks opened its fifth drive-thru store at Rest Area KM 97. Batam became the 9th city for Starbucks with the store located at Mega Mall Batam and then followed by Makassar as the 10th city with the first store located at Mall Ratu Indah. Starbucks opened the 100th store at the University of Indonesia and opened the 111th store on 11-11-11 at UOB Plaza, Jakarta.
2012
Starbucks entered its 11th city with the opening of Starbucks Solo Paragon in Solo and then followed by the 12th city with the first store in Palembang at the Palembang Indah Mall.
Espresso, Cappucino, dan Latte:
Espresso: Pure Black Coffee
Cappuccino: 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 foam (frothed milk).
Café Latte: 1/3 espresso, 2/3 steamed milk.

To be honest, there is not much of a difference between these coffee beverages in that they all contain espresso, milk and foam. The difference comes in the method and the amounts in each.
Cappuccino: 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 foam (frothed milk).
To put it together you need to pour the espresso into the glass first, hot milk is poured on top of the espresso and then the foam is heaped on top of that...seemed easy? That’s because it was!
To make the froth you will need an espresso machine with a frothing attachment or a handheld milk frother (for sale at Bed Bath and Beyond for $19)
Café Latte: 1/3 espresso, 2/3 steamed milk.
This translates into “Coffee with Milk” in Italian. To put it together you pour the espresso in the cup first and then pour the frothed milk over it…ridiculously simple! This one is not as theatrical as the other two espresso beverages so there is no need to be gentle while pouring the milk and espresso together.
Latte Macchiato: is the same as the Café Latte except that you use only about one third of the shot of espresso (where you would use a whole shot of espresso for the Café Latte and the Cappuccino). To put it together, you pour in your steamed milk first, then dollop a few tablespoons of froth from the steamed milk and then the espresso. The trick here is when you are pouring in the espresso you want to pour the espresso in slowly…again, this is easy, it just takes a little more patience.
BTW; Macchiato actually means “marked” or “stained,” which is the look it has when it is done (like stained milk).
Tapi sekarang gw uda punya trik lain untuk menikmati minuman di SB yg lebih murah dan gak bosenin:
Pesen capuccinno/latte, lalu taburin "bumbu2" gratis yang tersedia kayak cinnamon, vanilla, coklat bubuk; lalu gulanya brown sugar.
Nanti dimodif cinnamon banyak banget, kasih vanilla dikit; atau kadang coklat bubuk dengan brown sugar yg dominan; kadang juga cuma cinnamon dan brown sugar.

Asian Dolce Latte ini cocok untuk yang ga bisa minum kopi banyak (maag, ga bisa tidur, dll), karena rasanya lebih dominan susu dengan sedikit aroma kopi.......

dulu setiap pagi ke Starbucks Pakuwon , masi area perumahan soalnya.
setelah mikir mahal juga ya , soalnya dulu kan sering ke Jakarta , jadi mengurangi Starbucks.
sekarang udah balik lagi ke Starbucks :) cuma ga di Pakuwon doang , dimanapun bole , asal Starbucks. saya merasa lebi cocok sih ama varian makanan dan minumannya :)
saya belom pernah pake kartunya , padahal pertama keluar , saya udah punya :D
eh sekarang tiap event , selalu ada kartu baru , males saya koleksi kebanyakan.

Saya punya yang pertama doang. Isi 100 rb kalo ga salah , dapat kartunya :)
Yang 4 ga punya. Pengen sih , tapi ntar malah pengen punya semua koleksinya.
Saya pernah makan cinnamon roll kayanya ya , cheese cake nya pernah 2 macam , ama red velvet cake.
Kalo minumannya , udah lupa apa aja. Banyak banget.
Dibanding Coffee Bean , kayanya Starbucks lebi kreatif menarik minat customer ya.

Nah yang ini Excelso Pakuwon :) soalnya masi baru dan sepi , jadi bisa kenal ama yang kerja disana.
Kalo di Starbucks Pakuwon , rame sih , dan saya biasa milih kursi pojok di arah mo naik tangga. Ga pernah ngobrol ama baristanya.
